We’ve been sharing a lot of information about the Midtown Planning Around Rapid Transit Stations (PARTS) process that will have a big impact on our Mount Hope neighbourhood in the coming years.
City of Kitchener staff are hosting an informal open house on Thursday, December 15 from 6:00pm to 8:30pm. The purpose is to provide a check-in opportunity so the community can see the work-in-progress for PARTS: Midtown and Rockway as they continue to work towards DRAFT Preferred Options for these station areas.
The informal open house will take place after an all day workshop with staff, stakeholders and agencies. The work-in-progress will be in rough form and include maps, sketches and foam models. The community is to provide comments and feedback. Please note, there will not be a formal agenda or presentation, so folks are welcome to drop in at any time between 6:00pm and 8:30pm.
Please note, the next official Public Information Centre (PIC #3) will be held Spring 2017. PIC#3 is where we will present the Final DRAFT Preferred Options for a final round of comments and feedback.
