The “Sold” sign went up and everyone wondered, “What next”? On July 14, InTown Living posted to the following announcement:
INTOWN thrilled Koolhaus homes are sold and will be built on spec by new group. More info to follow! @KWAwesome #makeiturban @MidtownKW pic.twitter.com/zryn0R4l0I

This would indicate that a new developer will begin building on the Waterloo Street & Bismark properties and sell them to individual homeowners as they go. The new builder will have to begin the process of design & plans approval with the City of Kitchener. The new builder may or may not decide to proceed with the “Koolhaus” design pictured on the property signs.
And yes, the trees will not be saved.
Stay tuned!
When we will value a tree? That magnolia is gorgeous.

Isn’t it though!! One neighbour even inquired with a landscape company about the cost of moving the magnolia to her on yard. It is cost prohibitive and doubtful a tree that big would survive the stress of a move 😦 Sad, really.
