Invasive plant tagging in Midtown
Meet at the Spur Line trail and Guelph St to learn more about invasive plants and the upcoming park design changes. Two city staff, the landscape architect and the natural spaces coordinator will provide an overview and some info on the invasive plants at the garden. If there is interest, We can also take a look at the Japanese Knotweed along the Spur line trail and find out more about this very nasty plant that can grow through concrete!
And keep an eye out for plants that have been tagged around the community garden! Anything with a red tie is invasive.
