Public Information Centre Tonight – Iron Horse Trail to Transit Hub Connection

Just found out about this today….

The Region of Waterloo is undertaking an Environmental Assessment (EA) to improve the cycling and walking connection between the Iron Horse Trail and the future Transit Hub at the intersection of Victoria Street and King Street in the City of Kitchener.

The Region is holding a Public Consultation Centre (PCC) to introduce the study and present different cycling and walking alternative routes that have been developed and evaluated by the project team. The PCC will be an opportunity to:

  • Learn of the alternative routes;
  • Learn how the alternative routes are being evaluated;
  • Learn the impacts of each alternative route; and
  • Provide input to help determine the best alternative recommendation

Date: Tuesday June 6, 2017

Time: 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Location: The Tannery Event Centre, 151 Charles Street, Kitchener
