Never a dull moment in local planning news! The latest (and apologies for short notice) is that the PART proposal is going to council on Monday. Many of you participated in the public outreach meetings. I’ve managed to look through a lot of the plan, and there are some exciting ideas–street trees, better pedestrian and bike connectivity, stormwater management and eco-landscaping, new parks, and more. Although time is short, you can comment before or at the meeting–on things that still concern you, or things you like. The proposed changes will require financial investments to bring them to fruition, so it’s important for the city to hear which are highest priority for those in the neighbourhood.
