
The neighbourhood potlucks are a great way to stay in touch with your neighbours and share some delicious food.
When: Monthly, second Saturday of the month, 4:30 – 7:00pm.

The potlucks are a collaborative event with Extend-A-Family Waterloo Region’s WALES group (Working Adults Learning Empowering Skills) and are held in the WALES portable, at 91 Moore Avenue. Bring a dish that can feed yourself/your group, and one extra.

Good catch! Yes, always second Saturday. It was only the first couple months that has incorrect dates – all resolved now!

Winter Festival – A Free Family Event This Weekend Cherry Park Neighborhood Association, with support from King Edward Parent Council, is hosting their annual Winter Festival this Sunday! It’s a free family event for you to come out and enjoy this winter weather together with other neighborhood families.
WHEN: Sunday, February 17th, 12pm – 4:00 pm
WHERE: In the Downfield Park
Afternoon activities include skating, tobogganing, hockey, curling, snow building contest, snowshoeing, and more! Snowshoes are available for borrowing. Please bring your sled, skates, helmet and hockey stick if you’ve got them.
Need to warm up on a cold afternoon? Hotdogs, Cookies, and Hot Chocolate will be available by the firepit (free or by donation)
