When one city-led planning process ends…. another one begins!

As part of the CROZBY review (Comprehensive review of the zoning by-law), City staff will be holding a public meeting to review the zoning changes for Midtown (referred to as K-W Hospital/Midtown – running along the east and west sides of King Street including a portion of our neighbourhood up to Moore Ave.

Thursday April 18
6:30 – 8:30 pm
(drop in format)
Brief Staff presentation @ 6:45 pm to provide background and describe process
Victoria Park Pavilion

Many of you have already been involved in the City’s consultations on PARTS (Planning Around Rapid Transit) and RIENS (Residential Intensification in Existing Neighbourhoods) and your input on the proposed re-zoning of this section of our neighbourhood is just as important.

In simple terms Secondary Plans will dictate what type of development will be allowed, how high buildings can be, how close to existing buildings/residences new development will be.

Hope to see you Thursday evening.

If you are unable to attend this meeting, you are welcome to view the posted materials and provide your input through the project website: https://www.kitchener.ca/NPR or to secondaryplans@kitchener.ca.
