The City of Waterloo wants your feedback on plans for a park/playground in the new Spur Line Common development to be built at the corner of Roger & Moore. The City of Waterloo, GSP Group and Reid’s Heritage Homes are working together to build this new neighbourhood park on Roger Street in Waterloo.
Please visit the Roger Street Park project page on Engage Waterloo to take the feedback survey. They want to hear from neighbours and families about the type of playground they should consider building. And be sure to follow the project to stay up to date on this fun and exciting project.
They expect the park to be completed in 2022. It will be built beside the new Spur Line Common development and Mount Hope Cemetery. The park will include a trail that connects Roger Street to Mount Hope Cemetery and beyond, a playground, plantings that will provide shade and seating opportunities to rest and enjoy the park.
