This is the first part of a series of garden building and planting days for the Expanding Our Relations project.
What: Build the new garden bed using cardboard, soil and mulch.
When: May 14, 10-12 p.m. (Possibly stretching into the afternoon if the plants are ready for planting! Watch for details)
Who: All are welcome! Let us know if you plan to join, or just show up.
Please bring these supplies if you have them:
– wheelbarrow
– shovel
– gardening gloves
– water for drinking
– jugs of water for watering because the community garden water won’t be turned on until later in the month
We will also be recruiting for volunteers to water the plants soon.
