A welcome facelift for a gem of a neighbourhood park

And your input is needed!

City of Kitchener council approved capital budget funding to renew central neighbourhood parks as part of a rehabilitation strategy. The city is proposing a park improvements plan for the Uniroyal-Goodrich Park neighbourhood park, which is vital to a healthy community and vibrant neighbourhood. George Lippert Park received some excellent upgrades in 2015 under the same strategy.

Here’s your chance to review the initial concepts and provide your feedback. With your feedback and the feedback submitted by 75 neighbours in the online survey, they will be revising the concepts down to a single plan for additional revision. Jonn Barton, Associate Landscape Architect, is the City of Kitchener staff assigned to work on this project and he is waiting to hear from you!

  1. Review the project
  2. Ooooh & aaaah over the project concepts
  3. Add your comments & feedback

Stay tuned for next steps! It will happen quickly as work is expected to begin this fall!
